Week 5 - Image Bearer
Week 5 — Image Bearer
Scripture: Genesis 1:27
"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."
Awaken
-
As you awaken, place your hand over your heart and breathe in God's image within you.
-
Whisper: "I am made in God's image."
Abide
-
I abide in the knowledge of His love.
-
I am special. I am wanted. I am loved.
- I am made in the image of God, perfectly made.
Move (Embodied Response)
-
Stand or stretch gently, letting go of all that binds, breathing in life.
-
Lift arms toward the ceiling as a gesture of surrender and recognition of God's design.
-
Step or sway while letting yourself see and feel the Lord, as you invite His presence, and his love to be with you.
Declaration
I am made in God's image, with purpose and dignity, not by accident, not as an afterthought, but with intention and purpose.
Reflect
-
How do my thoughts, actions, and interactions reflect God?
- What does it mean to bear God's image?
- How does this truth shape the way you see yourself?
- How does it change the way you see others?
Live It Out
This week, treat one person—including yourself—with the dignity of an image bearer. See them as God sees them.
